Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
Children, listen closely. I want to tell you what happened eight days after I rose from the dead.
On the first day, I appeared to Mary Magdalene in a garden near Jerusalem. The morning air was cool, and the olive trees cast long shadows across the stone paths. Gardens in ancient Israel were quiet places where people grew herbs, figs, and flowers. Mary came early, carrying spices—just as many women did in those days—to honor the dead.
Later that same day, I walked with two disciples on the road to Emmaus. That road wound through hills covered with wildflowers and wheat fields. Travelers often walked long distances, talking as they went. We broke bread together, and their eyes were opened.
That evening, those two hurried back to Jerusalem—running along the dusty road—to tell the others.
That night, My disciples gathered in a house with doors shut tight. Why? Because people in Jerusalem were talking about My death, and the disciples were afraid. In those days, houses were built with thick stone walls and wooden doors that could be barred from the inside.
“Peace be unto you.”
Their hearts trembled, then filled with joy, but Thomas was not there. Maybe he had gone out—perhaps to buy bread or water, as people often did in the evening when the streets were cooler.
When the others told him I had appeared in the room, he shook his head.
“Unless I see the nail marks in His hands,” Thomas said,
“I will not believe.”
Thomas insisted that he MUSt put his finger into the print of the nails and into the scars on my chest in order to believe that I was alive.
Have you ever felt unsure until you saw something with your own eyes?
Eight days passed. The disciples gathered again in the same room. The oil lamps flickered. The smell of baked barley bread filled the air. The cool evening breeze slipped through the cracks of the shutters.
This time, Thomas was with them.
The door was shut.
But I came anyway.
I stood among them and said, “Peace be unto you.”
Then I turned to Thomas. I looked into his eyes. I knew his doubts, his questions, his fears.
“Thomas,” I said,
“Look at My hands and touch the nail prints with your finger .
Feel the scars in My side.”
Why did I invite him to touch My wounds?
Because I wanted Thomas to have evidence that I was indeed alive.
Thomas fell to his knees and said, “My Lord and my God!”
Children, I want you to understand something important.
People in ancient Israel believed what they could see, touch, and hear. Shepherds touched their sheep to count them. Farmers felt the soil before planting seeds. Fishermen tested their nets with their hands.
Thomas wanted to see my scars and to touch them in order to believe I was indeed alive.
But he also needed healing for his doubt, the same way a child needs a gentle hand when they are afraid of the dark.
When I said, “Reach hither thy finger,” I wasn’t scolding him. I was drawing him close.
I wanted Thomas to know:
I was truly alive.
I had truly conquered death.
I had not forgotten him, even in his doubt.
I told him:
“You believed because you saw the proof.
Blessed are those who have not seen,
and yet have believed.”
That blessing of believing in my resurrection is also for you. Because I arose, those who receive salvation by faith will also rise up from the dead to be with me.
This is the First Resurrection (1 Thessalonians 4: 13-17).
The Bible doesn’t say, but people often ran errands in the evening—buying food, water, or oil.
To show the disciples that nothing—not even locked doors—could stop His risen power.
People in ancient Israel trusted what they could touch. Thomas wanted to be sure that Jesus was indeed alive.
It means Jesus loves and blesses those who believe in His resurrection even if they never ever see or touch the scars with their own eyes.
Children, I appeared to Thomas because I loved him.
I appear to you through My Word because I love you too.
Faith grows when you listen to the Word of God, when you ask questions, and when you trust Me—just like Thomas did.

After Jesus rose from the dead, He spent time with His disciples, teaching them and showing them He was alive. Then something amazing happened! ✨
Jesus took His disciples to a special place called the Mount of Olives 🏞️—a hill right outside Jerusalem. This is the same place where He will come back one day.
Jesus lifted His hands and blessed them 🙌. While He was blessing them, He began to rise into the sky! ☁️⬆️
The disciples watched with wide eyes as Jesus went higher and higher until a cloud hid Him from their sight ☁️👀.
While the disciples were still staring at the sky, suddenly two angels appeared beside them 👼👼.
They said:
“Why are you standing here looking up? Jesus, who went up into heaven, will come back the same way!”
Jesus is not gone forever—He has a plan to return and rule in the earth! The angels’ message was super important:
👉 Jesus went up from the Mount of Olives
👉 Jesus will come back to the Mount of Olives 🏞️
When He returns, He will:
When the nations fight the battle of Armageddon against Jerusalem, Jesus will come back and stand on the Mount of Olives .🏞️ Tgus is the same mountain near Jerusalem where He went up to heaven.
When His feet touch the mountain 👣, something powerful will happen: the mountain will split into two ⛰️⛰️ and make a big valley in the middle so people can escape safely 🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♂️💨. This shows Jesus is coming as a mighty King 👑 and Protector 🛡️.

The sun had already slipped behind the hills of Jerusalem, leaving a soft orange glow over the stone houses. Inside one of those houses, my disciples gathered close together. They whispered. They wondered. They hoped. They feared.
Those hills were rocky, dotted with olive trees and wildflowers.
Just as the land had seasons, My disciples were entering a new season—one filled with hope, strength, and joy.
Suddenly, the door burst open!
The two disciples who had walked with Me on the Road to Emmaus rushed in, dusty from the seven‑mile journey. Their sandals slapped the floor. Their hearts raced.
“We saw Him!” they cried. “We saw the Lord! He walked with us! He talked with us! He broke bread with us!”
The others leaned in. Their oil lamps flickered. Shadows danced on the walls. Could it be true? Could I really be alive?
Children, have you ever felt your heart beat fast when something wonderful might be true?
As they spoke, I came and stood right there in the middle of them.
No door opened. No window moved. I simply stood among My friends.
“Peace be unto you,” I said.
My voice filled the room like warm sunlight after rain.
But they trembled.
Some stepped back.
Some covered their faces.
Some thought I was a spirit.
Why were they afraid? Because in ancient Israel, people believed that sudden appearances—especially in quiet rooms—might be signs from the unseen world. And My friends were already overwhelmed with emotion.
So I stretched out My hands.
I showed them the marks.
I let them see My feet.
“Touch Me and see,” I said gently. “A spirit does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”
Their fear melted like ice in the desert sun.
Then I asked, “Do you have anything to eat?”
Why did I ask?
I wanted them to see me eating. This was something spirit could not do.
They handed Me a piece of broiled fish—a common meal near the Sea of Galilee, where fishermen brought in fresh catches each morning.
I ate it while they watched, wide‑eyed and smiling.
Hope rose in their hearts as they saw me eat. After my meal, I opened their minds to understand the Scriptures.
I reminded them of the prophets.
I told them why everything had happened.
“Everything written about Me had to be fulfilled,” I said.
“The Messiah had to suffer, rise again, and bring forgiveness to all nations.”
I spoke of the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms that prophesied about my death, burial and resurrection.
Then I gave them a mission:
“You are witnesses of these things. And I will send the Promise of My Father upon you.”
The Promise was the Holy Spirit, who would fill them with courage.
“And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.”

1. Why did Jesus say, “Peace be unto you”?
Because His friends were scared, and He wanted them to feel safe and calm.
2. Why did Jesus eat fish?
To show He was truly alive—not a spirit—and because fish was a common food in ancient Israel.

They were sad, confused, and not expecting to see Him alive again.
4. What is the “Promise of the Father”?

Children, I visited My disciples that evening of my resurrection because I wanted them to know that my appearance on the Road to Emmaus was true.
I wanted them to know I was alive forever.
I wanted them to feel peace.
I wanted them to share My message with the world.
And I come to you, too—through My words, My love, and My Spirit.
